Freedom is something least thought of with God, much less put in the same sentence.
God is love, one may ask,"what does love have to do with freedom?"
Since God is love and God is the only source of freedom, love has much to do with freedom.
Love must exist before freedom can be present, therefore God must be present, and His love acknowledged before freedom can be true.
Yes, people can have a false freedom an example can be made of America, we have more "freedom" then any other country in the world, but it is only earthly "freedom"; we have very little true freedom, we have turned too far away from God to have that.

Life to God's degree
Christ did say to live life to the fullest, but what is the fullest for life?
Is life a Mathematical equation, or is it just a ride to get us to Eternity?
Should life be read as Life to the ME degree, or Life to God's degree?
Life is to short to live in a closet full of junk.
Life is to long to not stop and smell the roses.
Life is not yours to do with as you please.
Life is God's, let Him do as He pleases with you.

Independence
Independence is something every one wishes to be in their life, but what, I ask, is independence?
Is it to be free from all authority? Is it to see the world's standard for life and immediately go in the opposite direction? Must one fight a war for it? Or must one give his "rights" to God, for ones rights are his chains?
The later, my friend, is the one least chosen. Most people in today's world would not assume that freedom and independence go hand in hand, but you can not have one and not have the other, and you can not have either without God.

A little History
Hello,
My name is John Thomas, before I get to far into this I figured I would give you a little history of myself. I was born as were most of you, I hope. I am a Christian and believe that God has plans more amazing than we humans can think. I am also a writer. This blog is a way for me to put my ideas out into the world wide web. I believe that I have covered the basics. Therefore, this last sentence completes the brief history of me.
